		<description>The existence of Gilgamesh was dated to at least 1500 (thats right) years before the Bible. All historical and geneological evidence would say to me the Hebrews derived the story from a Summerian tale told through the times.</description>

		<description>Nicely put. I wonder what the justification is for putting Gilgamesh before Noah. Like you said, even if the Bible were not true, it is still far more likely that the borrowing was &lt;i&gt;from&lt;/i&gt; the Bible and not the other way around.</description>
